Our ceramics cover quite a wide variety of wares - almost all are functional but just a few are purely decorative. Either hand built or thrown on a wheel and finished with hand tools, each item has unique and individual qualities. Crafting, glazing and firing handmade pottery, made from raw or recycled clay allows Gill to reflect a personal sense of value and style. Individual art inspired by nature - the most simple pieces are the most effective!

Gill studied at Dartington College of Arts and has specialized in hand built and thrown ceramics since the late 1990’s. Studying with renowned potter and ceramicist Mohammid Hamid and working out of his studio in Lewes, East Sussex Gill works in earthenware, stoneware and occasionally porcelain. Influenced and inspired by Mo’s Moorish designs Gill’s work now also includes gold, silver and platinum lustres.
